I am loosing customers while Wise tell me to keep waiting. @Wise restricted my UK business account. I submitted the req docs. Wise gave me estimate of 2–3 working days, then 1 day, now 7–8 working days. Who takes responsibility for the financial damage? #Wise #SmallBusiness #UK

@Wise Please reply to your DMs. My account was closed for virtually no reason, warning or explanation. My monthly wages are sitting in that closed account so am needing to borrow money just to stay above water as that was my salary. Very stressful and horrible experience ðŸ˜
SHAME ON YOU @Wise Shitty service, Closed my 3 Business accounts randomly without any reason at all, Hurted operations of all my businesses and took away all my funds, Cant pay for my expenses or teams. Thats unacceptable. Wanna take some serious action against them #WISE https://t.co/aopI71y96C
Out of the blue @Wise decided to close my account: "Your Wise account will be closed on 25 December 2026. This is because you haven’t verified your details as requested in our previous emails." This is outrageous, I've never received any requests from them for any information! https://t.co/etMOfRFoSs
@Wise I transferred €1,000 from my own bank account to my own Wise account. Both are under my name. Wise immediately suspended my account. I provided all requested documents, but my appeal was rejected. Please review my case and help me access my funds. @wise_supporter
4+ years as a loyal Wise customer. Account closed overnight, zero explanation, income cut off. My appeal auto rejected in seconds, no real review. Now days of silence after I finally got a reply. Genuinely exhausting trying to run a business through this. @Wise do better.
@Wise — I need your urgent attention regarding a payment that has been stuck for months. Facebook confirmed that my payment of approximately $3,100 was sent to my Wise account on December 22. However, my Wise account had already been disabled/closed on December 14. I have official proof from Facebook confirming that the payment was sent, including the payment reference/details. I also have documentation regarding my Wise account closure. According to Wise’s own information, payments sent to a disabled account should be returned to the sender. However, after months of waiting, the payment has neither reached me nor been returned to Facebook. I have contacted Wise multiple times, but I have not received a meaningful resolution or a clear explanation of where the funds currently are. This is my money, and I should not have to keep waiting indefinitely while Facebook says the payment was completed and Wise has not provided a clear resolution. @WiseSupport — please investigate this case urgently and confirm: Where is the approximately $3,100 payment? Was the payment received by Wise? If the account was disabled, why has the payment not been returned to Facebook? What is the current status of the funds? What specific action is required to resolve this? I have all the supporting documents and payment proofs and can provide them privately through the appropriate support channel. Please escalate this case to the relevant payments team and provide me with a clear response. I am publicly raising this because I have been trying to resolve it privately for months without a satisfactory response. @Wise @WiseSupport
Hello @Wise you have just frozen my account so I can't access my own money - even though I have been with you for years — and also have a business account frozen which I need to run my business @five_books - why - because I'm married to a British MP?!? How is this legal @TheFCA
Wise closed our small business' account on a payday, with all assets frozen. We were repeatedly being asked for same documents over and over. Provided all documents, proofs, bank statements etc. Then, few days ago - sudden closure of account with all funds frozen. On a payday. UPDATE>> after several calls, emails, chats and formal complaint, account was temporarily unblocked (not cleared yet though).
Wise account blocked for proof of funds. Support is stuck in a loop, asking for the same documents every day. Any advice? Hi everyone, I’m in an absurd situation with Wise's source of wealth checks and I need advice from anyone who might have dealt with this before. My account has been restricted, and to unblock it, I provided very clear and legal documents proving the origin of the funds: An official will/testament Bank statements The related receipts The issue is with their customer support. Every day they give me a different version of the story and keep asking for the exact same documents I have already uploaded, without ever approving them or giving a real reason for the rejection. It’s an endless loop and it feels like I’m only dealing with automated, copy-paste responses. Has anyone experienced this kind of block? 1. Is there a specific way or channel to escalate this to a higher department so a competent human can review the documents? 2. Does it make sense to immediately file a complaint with a financial ombudsman to force them to respond? Thanks for any help.
Wise closing my account after 4 years - appeal rejected Freelancer, used Wise for 4 years. Client payments in, normal spending out (online + in-store, several countries) Last week: banner saying the account is restricted and will close on Sept 22. Card dead, can't send or receive. No warning, no reason given. Appealed, rejected — still no explanation. As far as I can tell there's nothing to be done here. Any bank or fintech can freeze your account overnight, with no clear reason. Who else has been through this? And…
